Originally from Oregon, Marley earned her B.A. in Social Science and Spanish from the University of Oregon in 2021. She then moved to Madrid, Spain, where she taught English for a year before pursuing her Master’s in Publishing at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Her experience at the Spanish literary agency SalmaiaLit and her affinity for translated literature were the catalysts for her interest in international rights. She moved to New York in 2024 and worked as a bookseller before starting at Trident Media Group.
