Lew Korman became a business advisor to Trident Media Group soon after its formation. He is also Chairman of EpiCom Media, a book packaging company which he organized with Trident. Mr. Korman is co-author of “A Day in the Life of the United States Armed Forces” (HarperCollins 2003) and co- producer of “A Day in the Life of the American Woman” (Bulfinch Press 2005). He has also been a business consultant to and principal/investor in various companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions and financing.
Mr. Korman has extensive experience in the entertainment industry as founder and managing general partner of the Delphi Film Partnerships, which raised and invested over $500 million in major motion pictures. In 1987, he became the Chief Operating Officer of Tri Star Pictures, also directing Loews Theatres and overseeing television, financial and legal operations. In 1988, Mr. Korman was Chief Operating Officer of Columbia Pictures Entertainment and Chairman of its Motion Picture Division, until its sale to Sony. Mr. Korman was a co-founder of Savoy Pictures Entertainment in 1992, which was a distributor of motion pictures and an owner of Fox affiliated television stations and sold to a predecessor of InterActive Corp.
He is engaged in a variety of entrepreneurial and advisory activities involving companies in media, consumer products and finance. |
